Introduction
The definition of high definition originates from digital high definition television (HDTV), which is a high definition television standard determined by smpts of American Association of Film and Television Engineers, namely supporting 1080i(1920 × 1080, interlaced), 720p (1280 × 720, line by line), 1080p (1920 × 1080, line by line) three HD TV standards.
The security industry usually adopts the high definition division standard in the field of radio and television to distinguish "high definition" from "standard definition". Due to the adoption of radio and television standards: cameras that can reach millions of pixels, display devices with 1080p resolution and corresponding transmission channels, a set of monitoring system that can be called high definition can be formed.
The security video surveillance industry itself does not yet have a universal HD standard. Currently, most of them follow the SMPTE292M(Bit Serial Digital Interface for High Definition Television Systems) technical specifications.
Technical advantages
The IP Network HD monitoring system obviously has the following advantages: HD-SDI monitoring.
(1) the wiring of the original analog system can still be adopted, and the system composition and equipment management mode remain unchanged. Upgrading from the old analog system, only the corresponding hardware equipment needs to be replaced, and almost no operation training is required, it can smoothly upgrade from standard definition simulation monitoring to high definition monitoring.
(2) the original image is not distorted, unlike IP monitoring, which is transmitted through the network after compression and packaging, while HD-SDI monitoring transmits uncompressed digital signals on coaxial cables at high speed without distortion.
(3) high-definition real-time, not affected by the transmission network, and there will be no image delay caused by IP network monitoring. When there is a real-time monitoring requirement, this performance requirement is particularly important.
(4) provide more details, maintain the integrity and originality of images, greatly improve the accuracy of intelligent analysis algorithms, and provide guarantee for intelligent video analysis IVS.
Composition Technology
(1) camera CCD or CMOS imaging device, complete optical image conversion to electrical signal, output electronic image signal.
(2)AFE, analog front end, digitizes CCD image signals and generates CCD control timing when used for CCD imaging. For CMOS imaging devices, digital signals can be directly output, so AFE analog front end is not required.
(3)CPU is the core device of the whole HD camera, which mainly completes image signal processing (ImageSignalProcessor) and image signal coding and decoding (coding and decoding are MPEG4, H.264 standard image data, etc.).

Installation control
Under normal circumstances, the security monitoring system is installed. The installation and debugging methods between high-definition surveillance cameras and ordinary cameras are the same. Pay attention to the selection of different lenses, the quality and matching of the lens will affect the clarity of the picture. In addition, the protective cover of the surveillance camera cannot be ignored. The front glass of the gun protective cover cannot use ordinary flat glass, and better optical glass should be used. In addition to front-end installation and material selection, high-definition cameras need attention.
